With built-in stereo delay, reverb, and EQ in the output section, LayR excels not only at emulating classic analog synth sounds but also at effortlessly conjuring massive pads and expansive ambient textures with extremely long evolution cycles.

However, it's equally at home in the studio, offering a versatile selection of included instrument and performance presets that can be easily accessed using MIDI bank select and program change messages, just like hardware synths.

Each and every parameter within the synth engine can be assigned to any MIDI Control Change number, and it's even possible to group parameters across multiple Layers and control them with a single MIDI CC, with customizable range and direction.

In addition to its powerful synthesis capabilities, LayR features an 8-track, 16-step Arpeggio Sequencer that opens up a world of possibilities for creating intricate polyrhythmic patterns or even generating ambient music textures. Each track in the sequencer can be individually adjusted for speed, playback mode, and length.

Completing its arsenal of features, LayR includes a MIDI Controller Mixer for real-time control of the synth engine during performances. It can also transmit MIDI CCs from LayR's output port to other destinations, providing seamless integration into larger setups.
